Payment:
Payments are currently accepted by paypal, a secure payment method, which does not pass on your payment details to myself or any other third-parties.
Shipping:
Please allow 1-3 business days from payment for your order to be processed and dispatched, you will receive a notification upon dispatch of your order.
All UK orders will be sent by Royal Mail First Class and should arrive, approximately, 1-3 days from dispatch.
International orders will be sent via Air Mail and should arrive in approximately 15 days from dispatch for worldwide, or approximately 7 days for the EU.
*Please be aware that international orders could possibly incur extra custom charges once they have left the UK, so please make sure you check this prior to purchase, as we cannot be held responsible for additional charges (tax) that may be imposed.*
The above postage dates are estimates only and are given to provide a rough time for when your order should arrive, however during peak seasons, orders can sometimes experience delays which are out of my control which could potentially delay your order. So please allow time for your package to arrive!
All orders are perfectly packaged to give as a gift to someone else, or a wonderful present to unwrap for yourself! Safe arrival of your product is also not compromised in packaging, with extreme care being taken when posting fragile items.
If you require another postal service, such as tracking or a quicker service, please contact me before purchase where I can then advise of the additional costs. These services are approximately £6-£7 in addition to existing postage costs.
Returns:
Should your order arrive damaged or faulty in any way, please contact dainty day dream within 48 hours of receiving your order. This can be done via email or using the "Contact" page found here, providing all relevant information including your order reference number, customer name and any photos if necessary.
I am happy to provide a replacement, or refund, for items that arrive damaged (through no fault of the customer) at no additional cost, you will not be liable for postage fees, this can be included in a partial or full refund (dependent on the case in hand).
If your item breaks within 28 days of being received (through no fault of the customer) please feel free to contact me, and I will be more than happy to discuss reconciliation.
Proof of postage must be obtained when returning items. Any refunds will be processed within 10 days of receiving the item, back to myself.
You MUST contact me before attempting to return any items, so that your returns can be processed, in some cases a refund may also be the only option.
Product Advice:
Several products sold on my site are made with Silver Plated, which is not advised to be worn for excessive periods of time, due to the possible effect of tarnishing of your product. In order to maintain your product in good condition, please refrain from contact with water, chemicals and perfumes.
Products can contain small parts which are unsuitable for children under 12 years of age and could present a choking hazard, it is therefore recommended that my products should be kept out of reach of children. Parental guidance is advised otherwise.
Some of my products are REPLICA food items that are made of clay, which have a resemblance to real food items. However, these are NOT edible and it is further advised to keep out of reach of children.
